今回現場ではコードレスハンマードリルGBH18V-45Cが破つり作業において大活躍しました。 コードレスハンマードリルGBH18V-45Cは、「BITURBO(倍ターボ)*1」シリーズの商品の1つで、穴あけ作業に加え、パワフルかつスピーディーな破つり作業も可能です。

リノベーションの現場では元の躯体を生かした改築が必要となりましたが、ボッシュのハンマードリルの共通特徴の「空打ち防止機能」により、ブルポイントが暴れることなく狙った場所に確実に打撃が入ることで効率よく作業することができました。通常このようなコンクリート（モルタル）を壊す作業では、ブルポイントを押しつけてから本体のスイッチを入れて壊し、次のポイントにまたブルポイントをおしつけてからスイッチを入れるという繰り返しになりますが、スイッチをいれたまま次のポイントへと、BITURBO(倍ターボ)ハンマードリルを使用することで、スピーディーにまた強力なパワーで短時間に取り壊すことができました。
またこのような破つり作業は体に伝わる振動も大きく長時間の作業は疲労を伴いますが、低振動設計により作業者の負担を軽減します。さらに吸じんシステム*2を併用すれば、破つり作業の際に発生する細かい粉じんをキャッチし、健康にも配慮した環境で安心して作業を行うことができます。

GBH18V-45C: The heavy-duty all-rounder for concrete drilling and chiseling

At the renovation site, it was necessary to remodel the original skeleton, but the common feature of Bosch's hammer drills has the function to stop striking until user put a bull point on the concrete. This function ensures that the bull point will hit the target location without going wild, leading to the efficient work at the site. Generally, when breaking concrete (mortar) like this, you need to press down the bull point first, then turn on the main unit to break the concrete. Then you turn off the main unit and move onto the next point to repeat the same process. By using the BITURBO hammer drill, on the other hand, you do not need to turn off and on from a point to the another. Without switching off the main unit repeatedly, BITURBO achieved powerful and speedy work.
This type of breaking operation transfers vibration to the body, and long-term work can be tiring. Thanks to Bosch’s vibration control, it lowers the vibration to reduce the damage to the operator.
