今回ラガーさんのリノベーション現場では、柱をボルトナットで固定する際にしっかり垂直に穴あけをする必要がありました。太目の木工ビットですのでなかなか難しい作業です。
ここではコードレスドライバードリルGSR18V-150C(コードレス振動ドライバードリルGSB18V-150Cでも可能)に搭載された角度センサー機能が大活躍でした。
まず作業する面に本体を置いて、角度センサーマークを押してONにします。
そのまま保持すると置いた面に対して90度(垂直)が設定されます。(45度・60度も選択できますし、「コネクト機能」でスマホと繋げれば、好きな角度に設定可能です)
本体の後ろ上部のランプをグリーンに点灯状態(±3度以内)に保って穴あけすれば、垂直に！
±4〜10度以内はイエローの点灯となります。それを超えてズレるとランプが消えるので、作業しながら確認することが容易と高評価でした！
後々の修正も不要になる正確な作業を実現、さらにキックバック防止機能や過負荷からモーターを守るEMP機能、瞬時に止まる高制御クラッチを装備。コード式を超えるパワーを実現するBITURBO(倍ターボ)コードレスのGSR18V-150C/GSB18V-150C、お勧めです。

At the renovation site of Mr.Rager, it was necessary to drill vertically when securing the column with the bolt nuts. Using big wood drill bits, task was challenging. For this challenge, Electronic Angle Detection (EAD) integrated in the cordless driver drill GSR18V-150C showed outstanding performance. (also comes with the cordless impact driver drill GSB18V-150C) Inclined screwing becomes easy with EAD.
To active Electronic Angle Detection, place the drill on the surface you are working on and press the EAD key on the front of the power tool.
If you keep this position for a few seconds, it sets required slope angle 90 degrees to the surface you placed. (You also can choose 45 and 60 degrees or customize the angle via a smartphone using the "Connect" function.)
Now it is simple to drill vertically! Keep the LED lights on top of the power tool green (within +/- 3 degrees the preset slope angle), and drill. The LED lights up yellow if the slope angle lies in the range 4 to 10 degrees from the preset slope angle.
Mr.Rager enjoyed this clever function. It was easy to ensure the precision while working, as the light went off when it was out of preset slope angle beyond 10 degrees!
